Our Cabrillo Beach Junior Lifeguard program offers instruction in lifeguard
techniques,
running, swimming, paddling, surfing, CPR, first aid,
kayaking, and snorkeling. Our 6-week program is Mondays through
Fridays,
and begins on June 25th, 2007 and runs until August 3rd, 2007.
New Applicants:
A 100-yard pool swim is required to be completed in 2:00 minutes or
less.
Testing is every Saturday in June from 10am-12pm at Peck Park
Pool.
No pre- registration is required; come to the swim test, fill out an
application, and pay.
Returning JG's:
Registration packets will be mailed in May and are due by the first day
of
the program. If you do not receive your registration packet, please
attend
one of the swim tests and pick one up. Also, feel free to call
Cabrillo
Headquarters and leave your address and one will be sent to you.
Payment can
be made at any of the swim tests in June or on the first day of the
program.
