The 2010 Cold Hands Paddle will be held on March 7th at 8am! The Cold Hands Paddle draws paddlers from all over the southland who brave the late winter time ocean waters off Cabrillo Beach, in San Pedro, CA. Come for the race, stay for the raffle! A great way to start the paddling season: an awesome (some say not even cold!) 4 mile course from Cabrillo Beach, open to paddleboards, SUPs, and (new this year) outrigger canoes. No fee to race! Just bring money to buy the killer shirts if you’d like one and buy some tickets for a chance to win 2 Joe Bark paddleboards. All proceeds benefit the Sarcoma Alliance and the fight against cancer. Plenty of parking. Joe Bark will also have plenty of paddleboards and SUPs to demo. Ocean of Ohana SoCal will be there to demo brand new OC-1s. Try one!
