The Los Angeles City Lifeguard Service
operates under two divisions, open water and pools. The L.A. City Open Water Lifeguards are highly trained to USLA standards
and perform lifeguard services at five of the City’s open water facilities. The L.A. City Pool Lifeguards operate all of the
City's pool facilities, providing lifeguard services, swim lessons, and perform pool maintenance and upkeep. The City of Los
